The “Regulation F” is the newly revised debt collection rule that applies to the collection agency and will need to be followed when you are sending an account to collections. Your Dentrix software is still the place to make follow up notes and track the patient’s payment history, however this rule gives guidance on communication with all the new technology. Make sure your collection agency is following these new rules.
